Goals!

So I have some work to do to reach my goals! First goal, drop 25 pounds to enlist in the US Army. No problem, I'll get it done! Second goal, finish basic and start a family. I can't wait for that one! Third goal, run a marathon. I did a half marathon on Thanksgiving morning, so I'm close. That was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but the feeling after...was AMAZING!!! A side note, If you're losing weight or trying to live a healthy lifestyle...train for a run. A 5K, a 10K or a half/full marathon. Anything! It really helps motivate you. To me, there are 2 things that make losing weight so easy. 1) Support at home! If you have a friend or loved one who will go on a run with you or go to the gym with you or run a race with you, it can keep you on track. Trust me! I have 2. My beautifule wife Sarah and a good friend Jon. We have run several 5K's together and completed the half marathon together! I couldn't do it without these guys. 2) Do something you've never done! Train for a race, a triathalon or a marathon. It is so hard, but the feeling afterwards is so great...and you get shirts! Fourth goal, do the IRONMAN by my 30th birthday! Thats going to be the tough one. 4.6 mile swim, 112.2 mile bike and a 26.2 mile run!

So I have some work to do! I know its going to be tough, but I know I can do it!

  1. Those are amazing goals! I am excited for you two to start a family too. My kid needs cool friends, please?
